Talking Point #10 - Our Kids New Normal
Some startling statistics about the health of our nations children
October is Vaccine Injury Awareness Month, and with Alexis Lorenze’s story of vaccine injury going viral on social media, it’s time to update the VaxSafety.org website, this Substack, and my new Instagram! I’ll be posting 60 talking points that break this conversation into easily digestible parts, making it accessible for everyone, even kids. So, let’s put on our black ribbons for awareness and spread the word. Feel free to share widely, and check back anytime for updates, as I’ll be adding more information as needed.

**Note: While editing this talking point to update it from the 2018 numbers to the 2024 numbers, I noticed the CDC changed its classifications for SIDS by breaking it into 3 new subcategories: Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS), deaths from unknown causes, and death by accidental suffocation and strangulation in bed. They also no longer give the statistics on their page for the number of deaths per 1000 births. Maybe because the US still leads the world in infant mortality? It seems they may have something to hide. https://www.cdc.gov/sudden-infant-death/data-research/data/index.html
